Our students have been busy at this week’s Craft and Chat session, and we were impressed with the beautiful earrings they created! A huge thank you to Miss Dennehy for sharing her skills and providing the kit that made these pretty danglies 🙌

A highlight of the trip was visiting the coastline, where students analysed the character of the coastal landscape to uncover the processes shaping its landforms. Supported throughout by the fantastic FSC field teachers, they collected high-quality data to kick-start their NEA!

🎄 Christmas Donations! This year, we’re once again supporting the women and families staying in our local refuge, and we need your help. While donations for children are often generous (and always appreciated!), the women in the refuge tend to receive far fewer gifts.

Yesterday some of our Triple Science students completed their required practical on thermal insulation! Thermal insulation is all about reducing the transfer of heat. In everyday life, it’s what helps keep homes warm in winter, drinks hot in a thermos, or ice solid in a cooler.

Despite the cloudy skies putting a stop to our telescope viewing, we still had a fantastic visit from the Luton Astronomical Society yesterday! 🔭 They delivered a great talk, brought along some of their equipment, and inspired our students with their passion for astronomy.
