Alongside developing their scientific understanding, students also learned how to use laboratory equipment correctly and carry out practical investigations safely and hygienically.
It’s been fantastic to see their curiosity, engagement and growing confidence in the lab!

🧠🔬 Year 7 students have been exploring how bones, muscles and joints work together to enable movement. To bring this topic to life, students took part in a chicken wing dissection, giving them a hands-on opportunity to see these structures in action.

Instead of a £1 donation, students are asked to bring a non-perishable food item, which will be collected on entry to school. The House with the highest overall participation will earn Q Points, helping to build teamwork, pride, and healthy competition across our school community

It’s been great to see our Sixth Form Mentoring Programme in action and the strong collaboration developing across our year groups. These weekly sessions give our Year 11 students the opportunity to speak with sixth formers who are currently studying their aspirational subjects!
