Congratulations to Avenida, our fantastic Yr11 band, who delivered an incredible performance at the Bands Blast Off event at Bedford Esquires. Competing against schools from Bedford, Luton and Milton Keynes, they secured one of just three places in the Battle of the Bands Final!

We are extremely proud of Zachary, Ryder, Charlie, Alfie and Bee, who represented Queensbury brilliantly and showcased their talent and hard work on stage. If you wish to purchase tickets to the event and support our fantastic students, you can do so here: stables.org/event/blmks-batt…
@QueensburyAcad - March 2
Last week, we had the privilege of meeting an exceptional group of Sixth Form students as they completed the final stage of selection for an exciting adventure to Beijing this July, in partnership with Radley College.

The sessions covered key topics including the current job market, career advice, applying for jobs, and navigating the interview process. The information shared was incredibly valuable for our students as they prepare to take their next steps.

Experiences like this bring books to life; they help students see that stories are not just words on a page, but reflections of society. Meeting Tia today demonstrated that literature is a space where young people’s voices are recognised and given a meaningful platform!
@QueensburyAcad - February 26
We are incredibly thankful for Tia’s time, generosity and support.
If you haven’t yet read Crossing the Line, we highly recommend it!
